Gilaranco Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Company was established in 1358 (1979) in the industrial city of Rasht through the collaboration of a group of distinguished professors of medical sciences and experienced pharmacists.
Official production at this company began in 1365 (1986). The first products manufactured by Gilaranco were medicated soaps, which were recognized as the first products of their kind in Iran.
